Cruzer Eligibility
Swimmers ages 5 to 17 who are able to swim the length of the pool as of the first day of practice are welcome on the Cruzers Swim Team. If a swimmer is new to Cruzers, they must complete an evaluation prior to joining. Evaluations will take place between February 16th, 2026 and March 23rd, 2026, Mondays -Thursdays at 6pm. Please email [email protected] or [email protected] to RSVP for an evaluation. If a swimmer is unable to swim the length of the pool, they can enroll in private lessons or a Cruzer Kickstart Clinic.

Swimmers attend practices for the entire season based on their age as of May 1, 2026, even if they have a birthday after this date and "age up."
All members of the Cruzers must be current members in good standing of Westlake Country Club prior to registering. If you would like to consider becoming a member of WCC, please contact our Membership Director at 512-861-4750.
Registration for the Cruzers will open on our website on February 16th, 2026 and close March 23rd, 2026

Above all else, Cruzers are excellent teammates. We love swimming, we love to improve ourselves, we love to cheer each other on, and we love to race. Everything we do ties into these 4 principles, and our coaches are looking to develop swimmers who embody these.
